* Before completing the case entry, the software will prompt you to reconsider errors you may have inadvertently made and offers a corrective suggestion. Two simple examples of such an error which are not uncommonly found on a case list are as follows:

• Consider the situation where you have entered (in the GYN section) a diagnosis of missed abortion and the histology reveals "Decidual tissue". This could (as it appears on your final case list) indicate that you have missed a diagnosis of ectopic pregnancy! Think how you might feel if the examiner brings this to your attention for the first time in the exam!!!! ExamPro's built-in artificial intelligence will bring this to your attention.
• If you have erroneously entered (on the OB section) the number in the para and gravida column as being the same number, you would be prompted by the 'ExamPro Auto-Checker' to consider that 'gravida' is always greater than 'para'. Failure to notice this prior to the exam could prompt the following question: Give the strict definition of both 'para' and 'gravida'!!!

This version enables you to input the data real time as you manage the patient in the hospital, directly into your palm pilot. You can then 'hot sync' the info onto your desktop where you can fine tune your presentation. This saves a tremendous amount of time and goes a long way to preventing you from falling behind in case list collection and data entry.

This Palm Pilot version also requires the basic version (you must be using the basic version in order to use the palm version).
